In Australia, many wedding celebrants choose not to conduct funerals.
For me, funerals were one of the reasons I became a celebrant in the first place. I consider them one of the greatest honours a family can offer.

When you invite someone to speak at a funeral, you are trusting them with something incredibly important — the legacy of a person’s life.

A funeral is often the final opportunity to tell someone’s story. To honour the life they lived, the people they loved, and the moments that shaped them. My role is not to take over that story, but to help carry it with care.

You already know their story. You already love their story. I simply help you give it a voice.

I won’t promise that I am the best in the business. But I can promise this: I will care deeply. I will listen carefully. I will treat every word with purpose and respect.
